Not testimonials. People you can call. Same path, different cities — first generation in business, second generation in America.
TESTIMONIALS REFLECT INDIVIDUAL EXPERIENCES AND ARE NOT TYPICAL OF ALL CLIENTS. FIGURES SHOWN ARE SELF-REPORTED BY THE OPERATORS PICTURED AND HAVE NOT BEEN INDEPENDENTLY AUDITED. YOUR RESULTS WILL DIFFER.
Independent, publicly documented examples of owners who started small and mobile, then scaled. These are not RUTA clients; each is linked to its original published source.
Opened a food truck in 2016 with an initial investment of about $41,200 — including first-day inventory. He reports roughly doubling sales each year and now plans a brick-and-mortar location, using the truck to test the menu, scout locations and build a following first.
Started with one borrowed food truck and 15 years of restaurant experience. Over a decade she grew into a $3M-a-year business with multiple trucks, stadium and convention-center concessions, market stalls and a commissary kitchen — leaning on community lenders, microloans and a long-term banking relationship.
A family- and veteran-owned coffee business serving 100% Colombian coffee, founded in Laredo in 2024. It built a local following both as a mobile coffee operation and a storefront — an example of starting lean and growing a neighborhood brand from scratch.
A popular mobile coffee bar (formerly Coordinates Coffee) that built a loyal following on the road with signature iced lattes and pre-orders via app. After rebranding, the owner set her sights on a permanent location for consistency — keeping the mobile bar for events and private bookings.
THE BUSINESSES AND INDIVIDUALS SHOWN ABOVE ARE INDEPENDENT, PUBLICLY DOCUMENTED EXAMPLES AND ARE NOT CLIENTS OF, OR AFFILIATED WITH, RUTA. FIGURES ARE QUOTED FROM THE CITED PUBLIC SOURCES AND ARE NOT PROJECTIONS OR GUARANTEES OF RESULTS YOU WILL ACHIEVE. THESE EXAMPLES ARE NOT TYPICAL; INDIVIDUAL RESULTS VARY DEPENDING ON LOCATION, MANAGEMENT, MARKET CONDITIONS, AND EFFORT. SEE OUR EARNINGS DISCLAIMER.
Most "start your business in America" offers fall into one of two traps. We built RUTA to be neither.
The questions everyone asks before the call. We answer them up front so the call can be about your situation.
Reserve fund is non-negotiable — 4 months of operating cost stays untouched. We also won’t take you live until your numbers clear a stress test. If we can’t get there, we say so on the diagnostic call.
Most franchise structures work on E-2, L-1, EB-5, or LPR. We map your status to the right entity before any capital moves. Status work is done with a U.S. immigration attorney on our roster.
Owner draw starts month 4–6 in most models. Full salary equivalent: month 9–14. We do not promise faster. If your timeline is shorter than that, we’ll be honest that RUTA isn’t the right route.
Onboarding, contracts and support are available in English, Spanish, Russian and Ukrainian. Your operating manual is bilingual. Your advisor speaks your language.
A setup fee paid against milestones (so we’re paid only when you progress) plus a small monthly support fee once you’re operating. The full breakdown is on page 2 of the diagnostic packet you get after the first call.
Up to the location step, you can step out at any time and you keep all paperwork done in your name. After the location is signed, exit is more complex — we walk through both scenarios on the call.
No bots. No VAs reading scripts. The advisor you meet on the first call stays with you through opening day.
Ran two restaurants in Mexico City, opened her first U.S. location in 2019. Now leads the diagnostic call.
SBA-loan structurer and immigration-aware entity specialist. 11 years in cross-border small business.
Built and trained crews for 22 franchise launches. Lives in the room with you on opening week.
Weekly P&L review, KPI watch, and the person who calls you on a Monday when something looks off.
30 minutes with a RUTA advisor — we'll figure out where to start based on your situation. Capital, status, city, the right model — all mapped out on paper, no pressure, no commitment.
